Healing a Cold, Struggling with Family

Hi Diary,

I caught a bad cold, and it's been really uncomfortable. This time, I took medicine with every meal and even took a day off from work, but I've only recovered about 50%.
Is it because of my age?

The weather is getting colder, and I can't help but think about my mother. She's even older than I am—she must be feeling worse, right? But I can't go back, can I? Both she and my sister are just waiting for me to return so they can continue draining me dry...
